Paragon Products is proud to announce its EcoVadis Platinum Rating, the highest recognition available through the globally respected sustainability assessment platform.
This achievement marks a major milestone in our sustainability journey. It reflects the commitment and hard work of our entire team. It also highlights an extraordinary progression. In less than three years, Paragon moved from no EcoVadis rating to Platinum after achieving Gold status last year.
What is EcoVadis?
EcoVadis is one of the world’s most trusted business sustainability rating providers.
The organisation assesses companies across four key areas:

- Labour & Human Rights
- Ethics
- Sustainable Procurement
Procurement teams, major corporations and public sector organisations use EcoVadis ratings to evaluate suppliers and their ESG performance. Achieving Platinum status places businesses among the highest-performing organisations assessed worldwide.
A Sustainability Journey Accelerated
For Paragon, this achievement means far more than a certification. It reflects years of investment, improvement and commitment.
As a family-owned business founded in 1988, Paragon has spent almost four decades helping customers create safe, clean and compliant environments. During the past three years, we accelerated our sustainability strategy and embedded ESG principles throughout the business.
Initially, we set out to strengthen our sustainability performance. However, that ambition quickly became a company-wide commitment. Today, responsible business practices shape our operations, decision-making and customer partnerships.
Last year, we achieved EcoVadis Gold status. This year, we progressed to EcoVadis Platinum Rating. As a result, we have demonstrated our commitment to continuous improvement and long-term sustainability leadership.
Sustainability Built Into Our Business
At Paragon, sustainability forms part of everything we do.
We continue to invest in initiatives that reduce environmental impact and support better outcomes for customers. For example, we review packaging to reduce single-use plastics. We also increase our use of recyclable and reusable materials. In addition, we promote concentrated cleaning solutions that help lower transport emissions. Wherever possible, we prioritise biodegradable and naturally derived ingredients.
Furthermore, our ISO 14001-certified environmental management system helps us manage environmental responsibilities and drive continual improvement.
We also work closely with customers to support their sustainability goals. Together, we identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency and adopt more sustainable cleaning solutions.
Supporting Sustainable Growth
Our expansion in 2025 into a state-of-the-art distribution facility in Chesterfield demonstrates our commitment to sustainable growth.
The facility improves operational efficiency and strengthens our ability to support customers across the UK. At the same time, it supports our long-term sustainability objectives.
Customer expectations continue to evolve. Procurement teams increasingly assess suppliers on their environmental, social and governance performance. Therefore, achieving EcoVadis Platinum status strengthens Paragon’s position as a trusted and responsible partner.
Looking Ahead
Although EcoVadis Platinum represents a significant achievement, we view it as another step in our journey.
We will continue to improve our environmental performance, strengthen ethical business practices and support our people and communities. We also remain focused on helping customers achieve their own sustainability goals.
